Acupressure Point Multiple Uses

Acupuncture and acupressure points have been utilized for thousands of years. Over that time, many of the points were found to have multiple uses. The well-known Tiger’s Mouth, or Large Intestine 4, is one such point. It lies in the web space between the thumb and index finger. It relieves frontal headaches, which is what most people use it for. In addition, it also treats toothache and TMJ, stomach upset and even is used during pregnancy to speed delivery.

Gall Bladder 21, on the upper shoulder, also treats multiple issues.   Headache, neck stiffness, shoulder pain abdominal upset and difficult labor are all addressed through this point. My coming acupressure book will explore these different points and show you the various troubles you can address.
